Looking Forward to Volunteering with Disability Link in Atlanta
I’m thrilled to share that I will soon be volunteering with Disability Link, an amazing advocacy organization in Atlanta that empowers people with disabilities. Disability Link provides a welcoming space for individuals to connect, share experiences, and support one another as peers.

Whether someone is living with physical, mental, neurodivergent, or cognitive challenges, this organization offers guidance and resources to help navigate daily life and advocate for themselves.
One of the things I appreciate most is how inclusive and accessible the organization is. Zoom meetings allow members to participate remotely, services are free, and you don’t need Social Security benefits or proof of disability to get started. Disability Link also offers access to Medicare counselors and opportunities to network with healthcare professionals in Atlanta.

Health and wellness programs, classes, and trainings
Advocacy and self-advocacy trainings

Workshops and other support programs
Discussing My New Opportunity With Disability Link
My Goals as a Volunteer
Through my upcoming volunteer work, I hope to:
Spread awareness about Disability Link’s programs and resources, both offline and through my YouTube channel.
Support community outreach efforts, connecting individuals with vital services and helping them advocate for themselves.
Contribute to advocacy initiatives, using training and resources from Disability Link to promote positive change.
I am especially excited about learning from the diverse individuals involved with Disability Link, including people with a range of disabilities and life experiences. Volunteering here is an opportunity to grow personally while making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
Join the Mission
If you or someone you know could benefit from Disability Link’s services—or if you’re interested in volunteering—this is a great organization to explore.
